I'm currently not using any AI on the site and aim to keep it that way. By doing so, I'm probably losing a competitive edge in terms of marketing the business. I cannot accept the impacts on our creative industries (full disclosure, I have been using Canva for much of my graphic design, so I don't have any moral high ground, really) and erosion of free, original thinking on the internet. There's also the environmental impact, which is significant and not adequately regulated:
Parliamentary report on the current and potential environmental impacts of AI
I look forward to seeing meaningful advances in AI tech and particularly where it can improve access and communication for people with disabilities, but for the moment I won't be using it for developing or marketing RSAT.
Based in sleepy Fryerstown, near Castlemaine, Rob Saxton Adventure Therapy aims to promote opportunities for young people to get out into the bush, in pursuit of better mental health.
I'm Rob, an outdoor facilitator & educator, passionate about supporting young people to build their confidence and explore what floats their boat. In my own time, you'll find me mountain biking, gardening, tinkering with bikes or renovating the house!
Drawing on a wealth of experience working with young people in outdoor education, I use my skills in facilitation to work alongside participants, co-creating safe spaces, fun & creative outlets in outdoor environments.
Using a strength-based approach and guided by the Blue Knot Foundation guidelines for trauma-informed practice, I seek to facilitate a variety of outdoor activities and mindfulness techniques, working with the young person to find what they find fun, safe and helpful.
